Timpuri Noi Square reached an occupancy rate of more than 90%

The first two buildings of Timpuri Noi Square in Bucharest recently welcomed two new tenants, which increased the occupancy rate to over 90%. With the signing of these new contracts, Vastint Romania leased out approximately 33,000 m² of office space in one single project. An area comparable to the total rented area in the office building market in Bucharest in T1 2018.

This percentage was reached thanks to the two new tenants: VWR International and Kiss FM. They signed contracts for occupying office space of in total 2,400 m². Soon they will join the existing group of tenants, such as Go Pro, Sephora, Phoenix Contact, Kruk, Fratelli, Impact Hub, DCS Plus, Netcentric, Tremend and Zitec.

With the arrival of the new tenants, the number of employees who will work in Timpuri Noi Square will increase by about 600 people, reaching a total of approximately 3,000 IT specialists, engineers and experts in key areas.

VWR International

VWR International, one of the world’s largest manufacturers and distributors of laboratory equipment, opened in May at Timpuri Noi Square its first office in Romania. The office of 1,200 m², will be a service center that will serve the European market.

Kiss FM

Kiss FM, part of the Greek media trust ANT1 Group, also leased 1,200 m² at Timpuri Noi Square and will start broadcasting live from the studio here in June.

Timpuri Noi Square

Timpuri Noi Square is the largest mixed-use project in Romania today. Construction of the first two office buildings was finalized in 2017, adding approximately 33,000 m² out of a planned total of up to 100,000 m² of modern, class A office and retail space as well as 50,000 m² of residential area. Construction works for the next office building (20,100 m²) started in 2017.

Timpuri Noi Square provides a welcoming, healthy working indoor environment, by means of a silent air conditioning and ventilation system, thermal comfort control, 3 meter clear floor height and increased natural light provision. Furthermore the project offers a dynamic and inviting plaza with restaurants, terraces, coffee shops, snack bars and retail amenities for recreation and fun.

In March 2018 the first two office buildings of Timpuri Noi Square achieved LEED Platinum certification.
